Terms of Service

Effective date: September 3, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms govern your use of the Ayaat website and apps (the “Service”). By using the Service, with or without an account, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Ayaat lets you listen to Quran recitations, save them for offline listening in the app, create playlists, and follow reciters. Verified reciters may upload recitations under the Reciter Programme Terms, which apply in addition to these Terms.

3. Eligibility and User Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. The registration information you provide must be accurate. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account, and you agree to tell us promptly about any unauthorised use.

4. User Content

By uploading content to the Service, you represent and warrant that:

  • you own it or have the right to share it;
  • it does not infringe anyone else’s rights;
  • it is a genuine recitation of the Quran, uploaded in good faith.

You keep ownership of your content. You grant Ayaat a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, display, and distribute it through the Service, including for offline listening within the app, for as long as it remains on the Service. We may remove content that breaches these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

Recitations belong to their reciters or rights holders. Quran text, fonts, and translations shown in the Service belong to their respective rights holders and are used under licence, with attribution shown in the app. The Ayaat name, logo, and software belong to Ayaat.

The Service is free and content is provided for personal, non-commercial listening. You may save recitations for offline listening using the download feature inside the app. You may not:

  • extract, rip, or copy audio files outside the app;
  • redistribute or re-upload content obtained from the Service;
  • use content from the Service for commercial purposes;
  • use automated tools to scrape or bulk-access the Service.

If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, contact support@ayaatapp.com and we will review and remove infringing content.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • upload content unrelated to Quran recitation;
  • impersonate another person or organisation;
  • harass or harm other users;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service;
  • send spam or unsolicited communications through the Service.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or your conduct harms other users, the Service, or third parties.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ayaat is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post changes on this page and update the effective date. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
